**IMPORTANT: please note that Zagora is not a desert of large dunes. It is a rocky desert with small dunes. If you would like to go deeper, via M’Hamid, to the Erg Lihoudi desert (the Dunes of the Jews) or to Erg Chegaga, two more days are needed.

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Zagora

Morning departure across the High Atlas mountains via the Tichka pass (2,260 m). Visit of the best preserved ksar in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, where many films such as Gladiator were shot. After lunch we head to Zagora, arriving in the afternoon. Camel ride to sleep in a haima (Berber tent). Accommodation with dinner and breakfast.

Day 2: Zagora – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Watch the sunrise, have breakfast and ride the dromedaries back to the road to continue by car. We cross the Anti-Atlas via Ouarzazate and the High Atlas again to Marrakech, arriving in the afternoon. Transfer to your riad and end of our services.
