Trip plan

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Imilchil – Todra Gorges
Morning departure from Fes heading south. We pass Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco”, and reach the village of Imilchil, where we visit the lakes of Isli and Tislit — the Lake of the Betrothed. We continue to the Todra Gorges, a unique place and climbers’ paradise with 300-metre vertical walls above the river. Riad accommodation with dinner and breakfast.
Day 2: Todra Gorges – Ouzina desert
After breakfast we leave for the desert through valleys and many Berber villages, then follow the Paris–Dakar Rally track, reaching the Ouzina desert in the evening. Hotel accommodation with dinner and breakfast.
Day 3: Ouzina desert – Merzouga desert
After breakfast we drive desert tracks through several villages on the border between Morocco and Algeria. In the afternoon we reach Erg Chebbi, where dromedaries await us among the orange dunes to cross them and enjoy the desert sunset. Drums, stars… Accommodation in a nomad haima with dinner and breakfast.
Day 4: Merzouga – Fes
Watch the spectacular sunrise, have breakfast and ride back for a shower. We begin a long stage leaving the beautiful desert behind, crossing the Ziz Valley and the mountains, with a stop in the cedar forest for a drink alongside its inhabitants, the macaques. We arrive late in the day in Fes, Morocco’s cultural capital. Transfer to your riad or hotel.
