7-Day Trek: Toubkal and Other 4,000 m Peaks

Day 1: Marrakech

Arrival at Marrakech airport, pick-up by our local partner and transfer to the city centre. Accommodation.

Day 2: Marrakech – Imlil – Tazarhart refuge (3,000 m)

Breakfast and transfer by our local partner to Imlil, where we meet our guide and porters and start the trek. We climb the Tizi n’Mzik pass and descend into the Azzaden valley for lunch. We continue to the Irhoulidene waterfalls, then climb along one side to the Tazarhart refuge. Walking time: 6 hours.

Day 3: Tazarhart refuge – Neltner/Mouflon refuge (3,200 m)

Breakfast and departure for the Neltner or Mouflon refuge. After crossing the pass we descend into the valley where the refuges stand. Lunch and free afternoon. Dinner and night in the refuge. The route depends on conditions. Walking time: 6-7 hours.

Day 4: Timesguida (4,089 m) and Ras Ouanoukrim (4,083 m) summits

Early breakfast to start the ascent of Timesguida (4,089 m) and Ras (4,083 m). After enjoying both summits we descend back to the refuge for lunch and a rest. Dinner and night in the refuge. Walking time: 8-9 hours.

Day 5: Toubkal summit (4,167 m) – Imlil

Very early breakfast to start the ascent of Toubkal. After 4-5 hours we reach the summit and, after enjoying it, descend to the refuge in about 3 hours. Lunch, then another 3 hours down to Imlil. Dinner and night in a gîte. Walking time: 11 hours.

Day 6: Marrakech

Breakfast and transfer to Marrakech. Free day in Marrakech with bed and breakfast.

Day 7: Marrakech – airport

Breakfast and transfer to the airport for your return flight.
