8-Day Jebel Saghro Trek

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Arrival at Marrakech airport, pick-up by our local partner and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 2: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Valley of Roses

Breakfast and drive from Marrakech to Ouarzazate over the Tichka pass and on to the Valley of Roses. Night in the Tagdilt refuge (1,600 m).

Day 3: Tagdilt – Almou n’Ouarg

Start of the trek, climbing towards Almou n’Ouarg (2,000 m). Walking time: 4 hours.

Day 4: Almou n’Ouarg – Kouaouch – Igli oasis

We start with a gentle optional climb to the summit of Kouaouch (2,500 m), then descend to the Igli oasis (1,600 m). Walking time: 5 hours.

Day 5: Bab n’Ali cirque – Ighazzoun

A full day to visit the cirque of Bab n’Ali. Night in the village of Ighazzoun (1,400 m). Walking time: 8 hours.

Day 6: Ighazzoun – Handour

An easy day descending to Handour (1,300 m). Walking time: 4 hours.

Day 7: Handour – Marrakech

Return to Marrakech via Tansikht, Agdz, the Draa Valley and Ouarzazate. Arrival in Marrakech. Accommodation.

Day 8: Marrakech – airport

Breakfast and transfer to the airport for your return flight.
