8-Day Mountain Bike Tour: Middle Atlas and Todra Gorges

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Arrival at Marrakech airport and pick-up by our local partner. Accommodation.

Day 2: Marrakech – Zaouia Ahansal

Transfer day from Marrakech to Zaouia Ahansal, with the option to visit the Ouzoud waterfalls or Imi n’Ifri. Dinner and night with a local family.

Day 3: Zaouia Ahansal – Imi n’Warg (46 km)

The first 20 km descend into the Assif Melloul valley, followed by a first-category climb and a final descent to Imi n’Warg. Dinner and night in a gîte.

Day 4: Cathedral – Anergui (36 km)

These kilometres climb through the lush gorge of the Assif Melloul (“White River”), where you can see macaques. A steady climb with a short pass at the start and some technical sections. Dinner and night with a local family.

Day 5: Anergui – Imilchil (62 km)

The first 15 km follow a track being turned into a road, with a very steep pass (about 10%). Almost 30 km more of rough track with another short pass, and a paved “hors catégorie” climb in the last kilometres. Dinner and night with a local family.

Day 6: Imilchil – Tinghir (110 km)

A mix of asphalt and wide tracks. The first 40 km climb gently but steadily along the Assif Melloul to the Tizi n’Tirherhouzine (2,700 m). The rest is a long descent of varying gradients, ending through the Todra Gorge and the oasis down to the town. Night in a gîte.

Day 7: Tinghir – Marrakech

Transfer by vehicle to Marrakech. Rest of the day free. Hotel accommodation in Marrakech.

Day 8: Marrakech – airport

Breakfast and transfer to the airport for your return flight.
